JRWA recieved a grant of $18,000 from the Office of Coastal Zone Management, and is working with Silver Lake Regional High School and the town of kingston to improve the run-off from Lake Street & Route 27 into the Jones River. Tom Sexton from Mainstream Engineering is working on this project as a consultant to JRWA. Wendell Cerne and other students and faculty of SLRHS are expected to participate.
