Join us for a presentation resulting from this year’s SWMI grant (Sustainable Water Management Initiative) provided by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to Halifax. The consultant, Princeton Hydro, will present the report and recommendations, covering Monponsett Ponds, the surrounding watershed, and Brockton’s use of the Monponsett Ponds and Silver Lake along with Brockton’s need for water. This study is important to the fisheries and habitat restoration efforts in the Jones River Watershed and throughout the region.

The presentations will take place in the large meeting room at Silver Lake High School in Kingston. Come to either or both sessions at 3:30 or 7 pm.
