Jones River Landing will also be hosting a two night boater safety certification course towards the end of May. A course of this nature will be required for anyone wishing to operate a motorized boat in the state with the deadline for completion being April 1, 2026 for those born after 1989 or April 1, 2028 for those born before 1989.

Our course will be taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary and will end with a certification exam given on the second night of the training. There will be a $20 fee assessed at the door on the first night of the training. Seats are limited with only eight spots still available.
