Annual New Year's Row & Holiday Party
This year we will be combining our annual traditions of a year-end holiday party with our New Year’s morning excursion down the Jones River and out into the bay. We’ll be keeping the Landing open all day long to allow guests some flexibility, so please feel free to stop by when you can.
Kingston 300 Book Launch
Come on down to sample Jones River Kölsch - a new brew specially dedicated to Kingston! There will be books available for sale and for pickup for those who pre-ordered.
Boatshop Open House
Mass Bay Maritime Artisans perpetuates the environment in which true maritime artisanry skills, based on scholarly study, experience, and practical knowledge, continues to hold its historic and essential role in the Mass Bay region.
Massachusetts Boater Safety Certification Course (Day 2)
Our course will be taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary and will end with a certification exam given on the second night of the training. There will be a $20 fee assessed at the door on the first night of the training. Seats are limited with only eight spots still available. Massachusetts Boater Safety Certification Course (Day 1)
Jones River Landing will also be hosting a two night boater safety certification course towards the end of May. A course of this nature will be required for anyone wishing to operate a motorized boat in the state with the deadline for completion being April 1, 2026 for those born after 1989 or April 1, 2028 for those born before 1989.
Nautical Yard Sale
Members of the Mass Bay Maritime Artisans and others will be holding a yard sale in the Landing parking lot this coming Saturday focused primarily on nautical equipment and other related items. Shipbuilding and sailing are cornerstones of our regional history, and Jones River Landing is proud of our part in it. Please stop by and see what’s available if you’re in the area.

Come learn how to protect yourself and your family while maintaining a safe environment. Registration is appreciated. Seating is first come, first serve. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Annual Jones River Herring Count
The count has begun! You can help monitor the amazing migration of river herring as they swim upstream to spawn by volunteering for JRWA’s annual herring count, running from April 1st through May 31st.
