Exhibit Talk - A History of Shipbuilding in Kingston

Join us for a talk on this month's Local History Collections Exhibit, A History of Shipbuilding in Kingston Massachusetts, presented by the Archivist Librarian, Nick Cotoulas at the Adams Center at 33 Summer Street, Kingston MA.

Nick will be presenting an insightful and engaging exhibit talk, in which he discusses the more specific historical significance and context behind the exhibit's focus and the items included on display. Additionally, Nick will be explaining a bit of his process and approach to this specific exhibit's design and the selection of materials included in the exhibit, along with his philosophy on curation and displays in general.

There will also be a Local History Interest Group on Thurs, September 24th.

The aim of this group is to provide patrons with a hands-on opportunity to explore and cultivate an interest in local history on a deeper level and to facilitate dialogue around the various aspects of local history.
