Local historian and boat builder, Peter Arenstam will be giving a talk on historic local shipbuilding and boat restoration at the Adams Center on September 30th at 6:30 PM. Peter will discuss his knowledge of local Kingston shipbuilding history, with emphasis on George Shiverick boats that were built along the Jones River, as well as highlight his work on the Mayflower II and his involvement in local historic wooden boat restoration projects.  

This event is part of this year's many local Kingston history programs being held in celebration and commemoration of the Town of Kingston's 300th Anniversary.
